Broomfield, CO – February 21, 2013 – Bolder Staffing, Inc. announced today it has been named to Inavero’s 2013 Best of Staffing™ Client list of award winners. Presented in partnership with CareerBuilder, the fourth annual Best of Staffing list provides the only statistically valid, objective, service quality benchmarks in the industry and reveals which staffing agencies are delivering exceptional service to their clients. This year’s list highlights a growing divide among the industry’s leaders and laggards, and identifies Bolder Staffing, Inc. as one of the best staffing agencies for companies to call when they are looking to hire temporary or permanent employees.
Less than one percent of all staffing agencies in North America receive the Best of Staffing award for service excellence. Utilizing the Net Promoter® methodology, the 2013 Best of Staffing Client winners achieved satisfaction scores quadruple the industry average. This stark contrast in scores is a clear indication that the firms who have earned their way onto the 2013 Best of Staffing list truly stand out for their service quality. Bolder Staffing, Inc. received satisfaction ratings of 9 or 10 out of 10 from 76.4% percent of their clients, significantly higher than the industry’s average of 39 percent.
“Less than 1% of staffing firms in the US and Canada have been named to the Best of Staffing List for Client Satisfaction…” Bolder Staffing, Inc.’s President and CEO, Jackie Osborn said. “We are proud and honored to be recognized for our efforts in this way.”
“Few things are more important to companies than the employees you hire,” said Inavero Founder and CEO, Eric Gregg. “The same holds true for candidates on their quest for employment. Staffing agencies have proven to successfully connect companies with permanent and temporary employees. Since the end of the recession, the staffing and recruiting industry has created more jobs than any other single industry in the country**, yet so many companies and job candidates don’t take advantage of this expertise and resource. Our hope is that both companies and talent use the Best of Staffing lists as a benchmark to help select a staffing agency that can either secure the talent or employment opportunity they need.”
®Net Promoter, NPS, and Net Promoter Score are trademarks of Satmetrix Systems, Inc., Bain & Company, and Fred Reichheld. Net Promoter Score is calculated by taking the percentage of respondents who, on a scale of 0 to 10, rate their likelihood to recommend the staffing agency with a score of 9 or 10 (promoters) and subtracting the percentage who rate the staffing agency a 6 or lower (detractors).

Now that the holidays are upon us we all typically start to think about how we can give a little. Although this should be something we try and do throughout the entire year, it always seems to become a focus in November and December. BSI & BP2 (Bolder Staffing, Inc. & Bolder Professional Placements) partners with There With Care. This is an organization that supports and helps families facing critical illness. We would like to invite you to take a look at their website and determine if you would like to give in any way. Here are a couple ways to donate to There With Care and the links to more information:
- Holiday Cards: There With Care sells holiday cards with proceeds going to families in need.
- Sponsor a Family for the Holidays: This could be anything from providing a meal to giving clothing.
- Volunteer: There With Care always needs volunteers. It’s simple to do. Just go to one of their volunteer classes and start helping.

The definition of a call center is a centralized office used for the purpose of receiving or sending a large volume of requests by telephone. An inbound call center is dedicated to administer incoming product support or information inquiries from consumers. Outbound call centers are typically operated for telemarketing, solicitation of charitable or political donations and debt collection.[1]

Many people view call centers as a negative place to work. Yes, it’s true sometimes the work can be a little repetitive. However, there are many reasons why a call center can be a great career choice.
Good Pay-
The average pay rate for a call center depends on the position to a certain extent. To generalize according to Salary.com, the pay rate for an entry level employee is roughly $30,000/yr. As a person works their way up the potential is to make much more. Becoming a supervisor or higher tiered employee can lead to $50,000 or even $60,000 per/yr.
Benefits-
Not all call centers, but most, offer a great deal of employee benefits. This includes healthcare, dental, and vision plans. In addition, they often include a retirement program of some sort. Many companies not in customer service cannot provide these types of benefits because of the high cost.
Rapid Advancement Opportunities-
Whether its on sales side, inbound, outbound, IT, or any other various roles in call centers, employees have a great opportunity to prove themselves. Most call centers also like to promote from within. So, after a person proves themselves they can move up quickly. Because call centers contain many departments, they also can provide opportunities in other expertise areas. Some companies will even provide extra training in these areas. Putting forth great effort with one of these companies will yield great reward.
Ease of being able to move-
An often overlooked benefit is the ease of being able to transfer to another location. A person might want to move to another city for various reasons. Many call centers have locations all over. This would allow for the employee to seamlessly transfer. It could also help provide more opportunity. Some of these locations may have other needs or have more advancement potential.

Manufacturing day is on October 5th, 2012. It is designed to improve public perception of manufacturing careers and promote its value and economic impact. It is vital to the growth of the economy across all sectors. It is my goal with this blog to show it’s importance and bring awareness to some great opportunities for people choosing career paths.
Many financial experts believe that manufacturing is vital to the creation of jobs across all areas of the economy. In 2010, The manufacturing Institute and Deloitte revealed that 78% of Americans believe manufacturing is important to our prosperity. Although people view it as important, it seems to be neglected. 51% of skilled labor companies are reporting shortages and see further shortages in the future. [1] The roots of this problem exist in generation gaps, image, and education.
1. Baby Boomers are retiring from manufacturing:
There are an estimated 11 million manufacturing employees in the United States. 2.7 million of these workers are over the age of 55.[2] Once this part of the workforce retires the shortage of skilled labor will increase dramatically. This could mean more jobs going to other countries and reduced investments in manufacturing.
2. Manufacturing Image Problem:
According to a poll by Nuts Bolts & Thingamajigs, the foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, 52% of the youth have little or no interest in manufacturing as a career and of those 61% seek a professional career. [3] The image of working in manufacturing is generally negative. Most people imagine a dangerous low paying work environment. This idea cannot be further from the truth. Most manufacturing jobs are extremely friendly work environments and harbor some of the most cutting edge technological facilities.
3. Education system failing for manufacturing:
Technology is moving fast these days. Not only do manufacturers use state of the art equipment but they are also evolving quickly. This creates a dilemma for schools. Equipment and technology is moving too quickly for schools to keep up and funding is lacking.
What do employers do about this dilemma?
Employers have options:
- They can invest in education programs and let students come to their facilities to see for themselves how manufacturing is a progressive positive industry and career choice.
- They can get involved with The Skills for America’s Youth Program. This program is designed to partner employers with community colleges in order to provide students with more industry related skills.
These options are great for the future of manufacturing, but what does a company do today in order to find the help they need?
- They can use a staffing/recruiting firm. These firms are experts in finding people with skill sets manufacturers desire. The talent pool is limited, so the extra outside help can assist in finding the right people in a more timely manner than a company search alone.
- Companies can invest in internal training or putting current employees through more training to help them gain skills needed by the company in the short term future. Some initiatives are being put in place by manufacturers themselves in order to develop training and certification programs for this type of effort.

Broomfield, CO—[BSI & BP2] of the Denver Metro area joins staffing companies across the country in celebrating National Staffing Employee Week, Sept. 10–16, established by the American Staffing Association to pay tribute to the millions of Americans who are employed by staffing firms every business day.

Businesses, according to ASA, tap staffing companies for quality talent in virtually all occupational sectors, from call center service representatives to skilled tradesmen to attorneys. ASA also reports that 79% of temporary and contract employees work full-time (35 hours or more per week), virtually the same as the rest of the work force.
“National Staffing Employee Week is a salute to the important and talented temporary and contract employees who actively contribute to the growth and maintenance of our economy,” said Justin Kraft, Marketing Specialist of BSI & BP2.
For those who are seeking their first job, re-entering the work force, or looking for something new, temporary and contract employment offers many benefits:
- Jobs: The staffing industry matches millions of people to millions of jobs every day. Some 2.98 million temporary and contract employees work through U.S. staffing firms on an average business day.
- Flexibility: Employees can choose when, where, and how they want to work. Companies can get the skills they need to keep fully staffed during busy times.
- Bridge: Temporary and contract work provides a bridge to permanent employment. People can try out a prospective employer and showcase their skills for a permanent job.
- Choice: Many people choose temporary and contract work as a preferred employment option. They can select their work schedules and choose among a variety of diverse and challenging assignments.
- Training: The staffing industry provides free training for millions of temporary and contract employees to help meet today’s demand for skilled workers.
“We’re proud to be involved in an industry that provides so many benefits to employees, to businesses, and to America’s economy,” adds Kraft.

Bolder Staffing & Bolder Professional Placements (BSI & BP2) Makes Inavero’s 2012 Best of Staffing™ Client List
BSI & BP2 announced April 20, 2012 that it has been named to Inavero’s 2012 Best of Staffing™ Client list. Best of Staffing, presented in partnership with CareerBuilder, is the nation’s only award that recognizes staffing firms that receive remarkable reviews from their clients. Fewer than 1% of North American staffing firms have been named to the 2012 Best of Staffing Client List.
“Being selected into a select group totaling less than 1% of North American Staffing firms is a great honor.” BSI & BP2’s President and CEO, Jackie Osborn explains. “We have an innovative and motivated team that uses best practices every day, which is evidenced by our Best of Staffing Award. We are quite proud of them.”
Staffing firms competing to make the Best of Staffing list underwent a rigorous client survey process followed by careful analysis of responses to determine satisfaction levels. BSI & BP2 received satisfaction ratings of 9 or 10 out of 10 from 57 percent of their clients, significantly higher than the industry’s average of 50 percent. Best of Staffing participants secured a place on the list by earning an average Net Promoter ScoreÒ that was nearly double the national staffing industry benchmark for client satisfaction.
“The staffing industry continues to play a key role in helping to revitalize the economy,” said Eric Gregg, Inavero’s Founder and CEO. “Staffing firms give growth-minded organizations a more flexible alternative to recruiting their own employees, letting both the employee and employer determines if the fit is right for a more permanent position. Both sides receive tremendous value in a flexible, yet meaningful working relationship, and as they engage with staffing firms to help achieve those goals, the service experience they have is very important to their success. The Best of Staffing lists are a resource for businesses and talent who are trying to find staffing firms that provide exceptional service.”

This coming weekend is the 2nd largest 10K race in the United States, the Bolder Boulder. This will be my first time running this race, and I felt it necessary to write a little about why I am running, and how to give back to the community. Not only do such activities provide us with health benefits, but they can also provide community contributions.
It feels great working for a company that gives back to the community! Many companies have ways of giving back, but as an employee do you give back? BSI and BP2 are involved with a great charity called “There with Care.” As my employer, they have set the tone for our culture. They inspire us to give and come up with ideas to help. My way to give back is to run the Bolder Boulder and take sponsorship donations going toward There with Care.
This forum allows me the opportunity to express my desire to get as many people as possible involved with charities. Whether you have time to volunteer, or just give donations, it is important to help those less fortunate. Maybe you can eat out one less time and give that $5 to a charity. It’s so simple if you think about it, and you will feel better for doing it.
We would love to hear of some ways that you give back to your community.
If you are interested in sponsoring my running in the Bolder Boulder please go to my donation page. Make sure that you put ‘Justin Kraft’ in the tribute information section so that we can track what we raised.
